Steven M. Whittle, DVM
Dr. Whittle is originally from Louisville, KY. He earned a Bachelor of Animal Science Degree from the University of Kentucky, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University. He has been in practice since 1990, and is the proud owner of Paces Ferry Veterinary Clinic since 1998. He purchased the practice from his retired partners, Dr. Johnson and Dr. Wylie, who started the practice in 1971. Steve's practice philosophy is "what would I do if this were my pet?" and his pets are his children! Steve is married to his lovely wife and business partner, Fran, who he met in 1987 while attending Auburn University. They have been happily married since 1991. They have a beautiful daughter, Lillie, born in 2001, twin boys Noah and Morgan born in 2003, and recently welcomed another little girl, Anne, in Summer 2008. The Whittle family has an adorable and energetic Golden Retriever named "Charlie Cat;" and a playful grey striped tabby-cat named "Chester."
Kimberly S. Cary, DVM
Dr. Cary received undergraduate degrees in Animal Science and Political Science from Virginia Tech before completing her DVM at Texas A&M University. Her special areas of interest include feline medicine, dentistry, and cardiology. Dr. Cary is a member of the American Association of Feline Practioners and serves as the President of the Cobb County Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Cary enjoys time relaxing with her family that includes husband, Jamie; a perfectly beautiful cat, Tumble; a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Keelie; and a rescued pit bull type terrier, Nala.

Jenine M. Merritt, DVM
Dr. Merritt has been with Paces Ferry since May of 2002. She is a native of Atlanta and received both her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. She lives in Smyrna with her husband Richard. Dr. Merritt and her husband have a son named Jack and a daughter named Mia. They also have three dogs a black Labrador named "Bubba", a chocolate Labrador named "Spike", and a Boston Terrier named "Gumbeaux."

Gina Marguriet, DVM
Dr. Marguriet received her Bachelor Degree in Biological Science as well as her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. Her special areas of interest include endocrinology, animal behavior, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Marguriet currently lives with her 2 cats Smegal and Link, and two retriever mixes named Reese and Shiva. She enjoys playing soccer, traveling, and watching Pittsburgh Steelers football with her family.
