Meet Merlin. This playful boy came to ABR a little worse for wear, he had a bad case of demodex mange and was very underweight to the point that he didn't stand up straight and could barely hold his own bodyweight. Since being in his foster home he has put on some much needed weight and is starting to grow his hair back. He just loves to play with his fur brothers in the home, and because Merlin is deaf, he would do well in a home with other dogs so that he can learn from them. Although training a deaf dog can have it's challenges, here is a great link that is very helpful: http://www.deafdogs.org/training. He has learned how to obey hand signals, so this boy is smart and with patience will adapt into most homes. If you are interested in adding Merlin to your home, please don't forget to mention him on your application.
