Paces Ferry Veterinary Clinic Celebrates 40th Anniversary!

Paces Ferry Veterinary Clinic, founded by Drs. Jim Johnson and Jim Wylie, opened its doors in 1971. Drs. Johnson and Wylie treated the pets of Vinings residents until their retirement in 1998 when their junior partner, Dr. Steve Whittle, took over the practice.

Just as Vinings has grown over the years, so has Paces Ferry Veterinary Clinic. The practice now employs 4 doctors and over 20 employees all whom are dedicated to preserving the “Vinings Village” atmosphere of a small, closely knit community within the city of Atlanta. The doctors and staff of PFVC maintain personal relationships with clients and their pets; treating clients like family and their pets as members of the family.

Since 1971, Paces Ferry has focused on providing exceptional medical care to the pets of Vinings and the surrounding neighborhoods. Dr. Whittle describes PFVC's mission simply,

We are so proud and honored to serve our clients and patients; we strive to provide them with the best medical care possible.

Dr. Whittle and the entire staff of PFVC would like to thank their wonderful clients for 40 years of loyalty.
